Germany Health Map

performed: Winter 2025/26

In this project, we developed an interactive overview of health metrics across Germany. Via a clickable map of Germany, users reach federal state detail pages with their own county map and detailed evaluations.

For each county, metrics such as medical practices, dentists and clinics are recorded, both in absolute terms and per 10,000 inhabitants. A comparison rating ranks each region on a 5-point scale, while sortable tables and a search make the data quickly accessible.

We built the map visualization ourselves without ready-made widgets, including zoom and touch gestures for mobile use. The application is designed multilingual and sources its data from a cloud database.
